Philemon Masinga, ex attaccante del Bari e della Salernitana, è morto in un ospedale di Johannesburg a causa di una grave malattia. Aveva 49 anni. Lo ha reso noto la Federazione sudafricana via twitter, comunicando la scomparsa del giocatore che vantava 58 presenze e 18 reti proprio con la maglia della Nazionale dei ‘Bafana Bafana’ (che in lingua zulu significa “i nostri ragazzi”). Masinga era stato ricoverato lo scorso 21 dicembre a causa dell’aggravarsi delle sue condizioni di salute.
